Hourly Rate Consultation - pay by the hour (or part hour), at home or at CentreBarks ... the minimum time available is 1.5 hours. This type of consult is available either in the comfort of your own home or at our CentreBarks Training & Behaviour Centre in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Skype Consultation - great if you live in another part of the country/world ... this type of consult is only available for dogs that have general behaviour problems, not aggression issues. It is also available for existing clients from either the dog school or day care facility.
In-house Training & Behaviour Modification - are you at your wits end with it all? Then our Behaviour Specialist can take over from you and tailor a one-week training package just for your dog. The package includes socialisation and training, and a personal consultation with you and your dog at the end of the week.
Assessments and Temperament Testing - we are happy to provide you with a short report on the temperament of your dog if you are at all concerned about their behaviour or would just like a check done prior to insuring your pet etc. This is available either at your home or at our CentreBarks Training & Behaviour Centre in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Our Behaviour Specialist, Heather Stevens, is a Full Member of the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association and is recognised as an expert in the field of dog behaviour with a high standard of professionalism. If you wish to claim on your pet insurance for a behaviour consultation, as a member of the CFBA, Heather is accredited for insurance claims and we can supply you with a Veterinary Referral form on request.
Heather is also a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, having completed and passed a demanding course and assessment with Distinction.
With nearly 40 years' experience, Heather uses only positive, dog-friendly techniques and methods during training and behaviour reformation. She is fully insured and licensed, and has a CRB Full Disclosure.
Terms & Conditions - In booking a behaviour consultation and asking for help and advice from a Behaviour Specialist, and paying for that help and advice, you understand that there may be things that you need to change or alter in order to live in harmony with your dog. We Train Any Dog and its staff and agents will not be held responsible for misinterpretation of, or ignoring the advice given. (Owners will be required to sign our full Terms & Conditions at the time of booking a consultation)
The Canine & Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) is accepted by Pet Insurance Companies who cover behaviour problems on their policies and meets their criteria for excellence in the field.
Heather Stevens is an accredited Member of the CFBA and as such, your pet insurance policy may assist with costs. Each insurance company will have its own criteria of what it deems a behaviour problem, which the client can discuss with their insurance company prior to booking an appointment.
REFERRAL PROCEDURE: Vets can instruct a client to contact one of our Behaviour Practitioners after providing them with a referral letter/communication or completed and stamped CFBA Referral Form. Alternatively the vet can contact one of our behaviourists to pass the client and case details directly. A client can also request any veterinarian to recommend a particular behaviourist.

Our Behaviour Specialist will require you to complete a Behaviour Profile form prior to any of the above types of consultation, in order to give you specific and detailed advice.

** The balance of the Behaviour Specialist's fee is payable at the time of consultation in cash or by card (excluding American Express). If you wish, you may pay your full consultation fee by card over the phone to 01748 889524 or FREEPHONE 0808 222 5678 or by bank transfer at least 3 working days prior to your appointment, otherwise the balance is payable in cash at the appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your appointment altogether, but they are deductible from the total fee, should you need to alter your appointment date/time for any reason.
Behaviour Modification Reports are compiled for individual owners and dogs following a behaviour consultation with our Behaviour Specialist, Heather Stevens KPA CTP, MCFBA. We Train Any Dog and Heather Stevens cannot be held responsible for any misinterpretation of the information contained in individual reports, neither can we be held responsible for a lack of results due to not following or adhering to advice given.
Owners should be aware that there is a risk involved when undertaking the modification of a dog's behaviour and that this risk is solely that of the legal owner of the dog. Please be aware of your responsibilities with regard to the various dog laws covering England.
